Built on the docks, grown across the globe

United State Shipping Service started with two trucks, one small office near a U.S. port, and a simple rule: say what you'll do, then do it. Regional customers trusted us with freight that had to arrive on schedule, and word travelled faster than any advertising budget could.

As that trust grew, so did our reach. Domestic trucking gave way to full truckload, less-than-truckload, ocean freight, and air cargo, connecting American businesses to suppliers and customers on nearly every continent. The trucks changed, the map grew, but the rule never did.

"Every shipment carries a promise. We built this company to keep it, load after load."

— Marcus Whitfield, Founder & CEO

What guides every load we carry

These aren't slogans on a wall — they're how our dispatch, warehouse, and international teams actually make decisions when a shipment is on the line.

Reliability first

We plan every route with buffer, not hope. If a delay is possible, you hear about it before it happens, not after.

Clear communication

No guessing games and no call centers reading from a script. You can follow your freight in real time through Track & Trace, or reach a person who knows your shipment by name.

Global reach, local care

Our international lanes are run by the same U.S.-based team that answers your first call — not handed off to a subcontractor once your cargo leaves the country.

People behind every shipment

Every account is staffed by specialists who understand freight, customs, and the industries we serve — not a rotating queue.

Fifteen years on the same route

A short history of how a regional trucking outfit became a coast-to-coast, cross-border logistics partner.

2011

Founded near the Port of Baltimore with two trucks and a promise to show up on time.

2015

Expanded into full truckload and LTL freight across all 48 contiguous states.

2019

Opened ocean freight lanes connecting U.S. ports to Europe and Asia.

2023

Added dedicated air freight partnerships for time-critical international cargo.

Today

Serving 90+ countries on the same promise we started with in 2011.

One network, every mode of transport

Whatever your freight needs, it moves through a single, U.S.-managed network — so nothing gets lost in a handoff between carriers.

Road Freight

Full truckload and LTL service across all 50 states, with dedicated lanes for regular shippers.

Ocean Freight

FCL and LCL container shipping through major U.S. ports to and from 90+ countries.

Air Freight

Time-critical international cargo, door-to-door, with priority handling at both ends.

Warehousing

Secure storage and cross-docking that keeps freight moving instead of sitting still.

The team your freight actually talks to

Behind every tracking number is a dispatcher, a customs specialist, or a warehouse lead who picks up the phone. We built United State Shipping Service around people who stay on a shipment from pickup to proof of delivery, so you're never starting the conversation over.

That's the difference between a carrier and a partner — and it's why so many of our customers have been with us for years, not months.
